my favorite volumizing hair products

This blog makes me laugh a little because I have always had pin straight and flat hair. I used to try everything to give my hair some life from teasing it everyday to flipping my part all the time. Once I dyed my hair I noticed a little more volume and when I started to wash my hair every other day I noticed a big difference! My natural hair is silky smooth and thin, so I like to use products that add texture to my hair which really helps hold the volume.

I have seen my hair gain the most volume from using the Drybar Double Shot Blow-Dryer Brush. This tool has been a huge game changer for my hair. I have always loved a good blowout when I go to the salon, as most of us do, but never had the effort to do it on myself. However with this tool being an all-in-one, I use it almost every time I shower and it gives me the perfect blowout. While it can be a bit pricey, selling for $150, I always believe in spending money on a quality item that will last me a long time instead of a cheaper option that may give out quicker. I have personally never tried this one, but have heard great things about it! A couple of my go-to volumizing products are the Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo, the Moroccan Oil Dry Texture Spray, and the Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast. The best part about all of these products is that they are formulated with cleaner ingredients and they work wonders! When I use these products, I always lift up my hair in layers and spray the product from underneath to get the best results. I get so many compliments on how good my hair smells on the days that I use it. The Moroccan Oil Dry Texture Spray is a great clean product that adds a little texture and is infused with argan oil that helps with smoothness and manageability. I love to use this product on the days that my hair is clean to add some lightweight texture and volume. Lastly, the Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast is the strongest hold of the three. I only use it when I'm looking for a lot of volume that will last all day. It has a hairspray like texture which makes it so strong. Don't want to break the bank to add volume? No worries, because all three products are under $30!
