cute summer look
Happy summer!! Summer is one of my favorite seasons because I absolutely love the summer style. If you know me you know that skirts/skorts and crop tops are my favorite thing to wear to dress up any outfit or to keep it casual for lunch or running errands. I love having pieces that are versatile and that I can mix and match with. To kick off the season right, I wanted to share one of my easy summer outfits with y'all!!
It's summer so I had to start off the outfit with a white crop top. I purchased this one from Princess Polly for only $28! Unfortunately since I purchased it a few months back, it is no longer on the website but I have linked some similar ones below! I live in crop tops and Princess Polly has some of my favorites at a great price. They have stuff for everyone's style from chic to edgy. I highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for some closet staples! For reference, I wear a US 0-2 in their tops!
Next, I paired it with a hot pink super light and flowy skort from the brand Karlie. It looks like a skirt all the way around, but has shorts underneath and a shirred elastic waistband making it soo comfortable! I loved the fun pop of color that this piece added to the outfit! I purchased this one from a local boutique months ago as well, but I found a cheaper similar option that I have linked below! Skorts are the perfect way to dress up any outfit, but still stay comfortable and cool in the summer. I typically wear an XS or Small in skorts/skirts.
I finished off this outfit with my favorite all white platform sneakers. They are true to size, so comfortable and easy to wear all year long! I wear mine with jeans, joggers, or skirts. I also added a statement earring to my normal jewelry since I wasn't wearing any necklaces and I still wanted to keep it relaxed. My earrings are from Mignonne Gavigan and I absolutely love their earrings, they are so light weight and add a pop to any outfit!
