must have fall staples
It may not be feeling like fall quite yet in Texas, but I am getting ready by investing in some good fall staples. I wanted to share with you some of the pieces that I believe are worth investing in this fall season! These items include chunky knits, leather, good black denim, layer-able tops, and boots that you can wear all season long. Not only are a lot of these pieces timeless, but they will create so many different outfits in your fall and winter wardrobe!!
CHUNKY KNITS
Chunky knits are probably one of my favorite things to wear in the fall and winter. They are so cozy and warm, but also look so chic! A few good chunky knits can be worn so many ways, and the best part is that you can dress them up or down. I have linked some of my favorite chunky knits below!!
LEATHER
Leather is such a luxe way to dress up your fall attire. Every time I wear leather it makes me feel so cool and chic, and I love it! I know what you might be thinking, leather pieces are so expensive. Good news is that you can get great quality faux leather pieces at a fraction of the cost! GOOD BLACK DENIM
You already know I love a good pair of black denim, or maybe a few pairs. Black denim is a closet staple for me, and I don't think you can ever have too many pairs! My all time favorites are destroyed high-waisted black skinny jeans. I have linked some of my go-to's and a few others I think you might like!
LAYER-ABLE TOPS
Okay real talk here, all of these pieces are great but they are nothing without a good top underneath. I am a huge sucker for basic crop tops to layer with a good pair of high-waisted jeans and a jacket or sweater. These are pieces that you can not only wear this season, but all year round! BOOTS
I don't know about you, but I am a little obsessed with shoes. I think boots and booties are the cutest shoes that you can dress up or down. I love pairing them with a cute dress or some good denim. A good block heel on a bootie is killer for me. Check out my favorites boots and booties this year!!
